New material for our Red taxi tote bag: 100% Organic Cotton
When we scrutinized fabric fibers to determine their environmental impact, we figured cotton was ”pure“ and ”natural,” made from a plant. We were right about the plant. As a matter of fact, very little is pure or natural about cotton when it is raised conventionally. We learned this in last year when we started looking more closely into our cotton supply chains.
Choosing sustainability isn’t always the easy route, but for us it’s the only route. Minimizing our environmental impact is an integral part of our business ethos. Our approach is to make high quality bags and support sustainable business practices.
Quality is a fundamental principle of sustainability, so we make products that are long lasting in both materials and style. Our new bag is made using the most sustainable fibers like organic cotton. 100% of the cotton we use is certified organic and most of our products are eco-friendly. Each season we convert more virgin fibers to recycled fibers and increase our use of certified sustainable fabrics. We’re forever looking to improve and set higher sustainability goals season after season.
