SIMON ROBIN ® Ltd is a Hong Kong company created in 2011.
The founder, Simon Robin is a French architect. He studied architecture in the renowned school of INSA in Strasbourg.
He worked in Paris for 3 years on projects at different scales, from urban planning to the renovation of apartment.
Fascinated by the relation between the morphology of the city and its inhabitants, he took a year and a half off to travel the world and explore different places, meeting an eclectic network of people along the way. These experiences opened his mind toward an unexpected level.
The discovery of Hong Kong has been determinant. After 2 years as an architect in a large local company, working on big scale projects, he decided to start his own business and focus on smaller scale projects.
SIMON ROBIN started from a contradictory fascination: “Hong Kong is ugly but I am totally under her spell”. SIMON ROBIN ® designs unique representations of Hong Kong: each object is a celebration of an art form.
We are now mostly designing sustainable giftwares and accessories. We work closely with talented designers to create exclusive and high quality products.
